Hi, my name is Skye - well, not really.

My name is Christiane Fränkel, but I've gone by Skye on the internet for the longest time. I do prefer to be called Skye, but in a crunch, I also answer to 'Chrissie'.

​

I'm an artist from Germany and I named my business after my cat Susi who died last year. She was the light of my life and I miss her dearly.

​

Earlier this year, I went to my local shelter and got two norwegian forest cats, who had been found abandoned in January and were not quite healthy when I got them.

​

I am an ADHD Autistic and have a special interest in cats (could you tell?), so my art very much reflects that^^. I also have a special interest in the English language, even though I'm German, so that's why most of my online presence is in English rather than German. I will be trying to keep my shop bilingual at least, so that's that.

​

For the last few years, i have struggled with my mental and physical health, and my fincances have been a little iffy. Besides that, executive dysfunction isn't fun and gets amplified by autistic burnout (at least for me), so this is the first year that I've actually kept my apartment pretty damn tidy and clean.

I do intend to make youtube and tiktok content about those struggles at some point, but I don't know when I'll feel comfortable enough to do so.
